V-Hawks Set to Compete at Drake Relays

DES MOINES, Iowa – The Viterbo University Track and Field Teams are preparing to send 21 athletes to the 114th annual Drake University (Iowa) Relays this weekend. The V-Hawks are sending five relay teams and two individual competitors to compete against the nation’s elite talent April 26 and 27.

Eight members of Viterbo University’s track and field team will take part in Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays, which runs March 27–30 in Austin. The event, started in 1925, is the nation’s second largest track meet, drawing some 5,000 athletes, and the competition is fierce.

BISMARCK, N.D. – The North Star Athletic Association announced its final edition of the Women’s and Men’s Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week Tuesday. Emma Johnson of Viterbo (Wis.) was named as the Women’s Field Athlete of the Week. She is joined by Kaitlyn McColly of Dickinson State (N.D.) as the Field Athlete of the Week, and Dakota State’s (S.D.) Jacob Joachim as the Men’s Field Athlete of the Week and Cody Farland as the Track Athlete of the Week.
