25 Athletes Named Fall Scholar Athletes

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has released the 2023 Daktronics Scholar Athletes for fall sports. Viterbo had 25 student-athletes over five different sports be recognized for their academic accomplishments.

SACRAMENTO, Calif – The NAIA Marathon Classic took place on Sunday as a part of the California International Marathon, and Viterbo’s Ben Fleuchaus represented the V-Hawks in the event.
Hirsch and Fleuchaus Qualify for NAIA Marathon

LA CROSSE, Wis. – The NAIA National Marathon competition is set for Sunday, December 3 at 7 am (9 am central time) in Sacramento, Calif. as a part of the California International Marathon. Viterbo’s Ben Fleuchaus has qualified on the men’s side, and Anya Hirsch is entering the race as the top-seeded women’s runner.

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The Viterbo University Men’s Cross Country team competed at the NAIA Seminole Valley Stampede, hosted by Mount Mercy University (Iowa) on Saturday morning. The V-Hawks took ninth place out of 10 teams with 224 team points.

NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The Viterbo University Men’s Cross Country team began their 2023 season at the Carleton College (Minn.) Running of the Cows on Saturday morning. The V-Hawks finished with a team score of 416, placing 13th out of 15 teams.
