Birdsong Named NSAA Runner of the Week

BISMARK, ND – The North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) has announced the seventh edition of its Cross Country Runners of the Week, and Viterbo's Connor Birdsong has been selected as the Men's Runner of the Week. This is Birdsong's first time earning this award.

Birdsong, an Onalaska, Wis. native, finished 50^th out of 368 runners at the UW-La Crosse Jim Drews Invitational on Saturday. His time of 26:30.6 scored 39 points for the V-Hawks, who finished 22^nd out of 27 teams that included two teams ranked in the top-10 of NCAA DIII.

Birdsong and the V-Hawks return to action on Saturday, October 21 at the NAIA Midwest Stampede, hosted by Mount Mercy University.
