Birdsong Named Runner of the Week for the Second Week in a Row

BISMARK, ND - The North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) has announced the final edition of its Cross Country Runners of the Week, and Viterbo's Connor Birdsong has been selected as the Men's Runner of the Week. This is Birdsong's second week in a row collecting the award.

Birdsong, an Onalaska, Wis. native, finished sixth place at the NAIA Midwest Seminole Valley Stampede last weekend with a time of 26:00.7. It is his best time of the year, and the second best 8k time in program history. He was the second fastest NAIA time in the race.

Birdsong and the V-Hawks return to action on Friday, November 3 as they host the NSAA Cross Country Championship at Maple Grove Venues in West Salem, Wis.
