V-Hawks Start Season at Carleton College

NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The Viterbo University Men's Cross Country team began their 2023 season at the Carleton College (Minn.) Running of the Cows on Saturday morning. The V-Hawks finished with a team score of 416, placing 13^th out of 15 teams.

Connor Birdsong, in his first competition as a V-Hawk, was the top performer for Viterbo, finishing 69^th (scoring 52) with a time of 27:45.2. Ben Fleuchaus was next, scoring 86 (146^th) finishing in 30:26.9. Andrew Kaja and Garrett Eick recorded times of 32:30.7 and 32:37.4, scoring 91 and 92, respectively. Bryce Ertman was the final V-Hawk, scoring 95 with a time of 34:33.5.

The V-Hawks return to action on Saturday, September 23 at the UW-Platteville Pioneer Gender Equity Invitational.
