Nonn Selected to Second-Team Academic All-America

AUSTIN, Texas – College Sport Communicators (CSC) has officially announced their 2022-23 Academic All-America Men's At-Large Teams, and Jacob Nonn, a graduate student on Viterbo University’s Men’s Volleyball team has been named to the All-America Second-Team.

LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Viterbo University Men’s Volleyball team swept Cardinal Stritch (WI) 3-0 (25-19, 25-23, 25-20) in a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) match on Thursday. The V-Hawks improve to 8-18 (5-8 CCAC) while Cardinal Stritch falls to 6-12 (3-10 CACC).
Men's Volleyball Falls to Judson on the Road

ELGIN, Ill. – The Viterbo University Men’s Volleyball team dropped a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) battle on the road at Judson University (Ill.) on Tuesday night, 1-3 (16-25, 16-25, 25-22, 22-25). The V-Hawks fall to 7-18 (4-8 CCAC), while the Eagles improve to 17-5 (10-2 CCAC).
V-Hawks Leave Arizona Without a Win

MESA, Ariz. – The Viterbo University Men's Volleyball team suffered three losses on a trip to Arizona this week. The V-Hawks fell 0-3 (21-25, 23-25, 24-26) to Park-Gilbert University (Ariz.), 0-3 (14—25, 17-25, 23-25) to Benedictine Mesa (Ariz.), and 1-3 (25-18, 20-25, 25-27, 22-25) to Ottawa University-Arizona. Viterbo now holds a 7-17 (4-7 CCAC) record.

LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Viterbo University Mens Volleyball team swept Trinity International University (Ill.) 3-0 (25-13, 25-18, 25-19) in a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) bout on Friday. The V-Hawks improve to 7-14 (4-7 CCAC) while the Trojans fall to 0-16 (0-11 CCAC).

The V-Hawks now sit at 6-14 (3-7 CCAC), while the Fighting Bees improve to 5-16 (4-6 CCAC).

Two Top-15 Teams Top V-Hawks

LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Viterbo University Men's Volleyball team hosted a triangular on Saturday, featuring a pair of nationally ranked teams. In the first match of the day, Viterbo lost 0-3 (22-25, 20-25, 18-25) to Saint Xavier University (Ill.), who was ranked #13 in the most recent NAIA Top 15 Coaches’ Poll. In the neutral game, Saint Xavier topped #11 ranked University of Jamestown (ND) 3-2 (27-25, 25-20, 24-26, 24-26, 20-18). In the final match, Jamestown bested Viterbo 0-3 (19-25, 17-25, 16-25). At the end of the Day, the V-Hawks are now 5-13, the Cougars are 12-3, and the Jimmies are 12-2.

LA CROSSE, Wis. - The Viterbo University Men's Volleyball team took on Roosevelt University at home on Thursday. The V-Hawks topped the Lakers 3-0 (25-14, 25-18, 25-14). The V-Haws rise to 5-11 overall and 3-5 in league play while the Lakers fall to 6-11 overall (3-4 CCAC).
Men's Volleyball Snaps Losing Streak with Win at Cardinal Stritch

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Viterbo University Men’s Volleyball team got back in the win column last night as they topped Cardinal Stritch University 3-1 (26-24, 21-25, 25-19, 26-24). The win breaks a 10-games losing streak, and brings the V-Hawks to 4-11 on the season (2-5 CCAC), while the Wolves sit at 3-5 (1-5 CCAC).

LA CROSSE, Wis. - The Viterbo University Men's Volleyball team took on the Clarke University Pride at home on Valentine's Day. The V-Hawks fell to the Pride 1-3 (22-25, 17-25, 26-24, 22-25) bringing their overall record to 3-8 (1-3 CCAC) while Clarke moved up to 4-6 overall.
V-Hawks Return from Jamestown Empty-Handed

JAMESTOWN, ND – The Viterbo University Men’s Volleyball team traveled to the University of Jamestown for the UJ Invitational this weekend, but were unable to secure a win, falling 0-3 (23-25, 22-25, 14-25) to Dordt (Iowa), 1-3 (21-25, 17-25, 25-19, 17-25) to UC-Merced (and 0-3 to Jamestown (15-25, 23-25, 14-25). After the weekend, the V-Hawks are now 3-7 (1-3 NSAA), the Defenders are 6-1 (2-1 GPAC), the Bobcats are now 3-6, and the Jimmies are 8-0 (3-0 GPAC).
