Nonn Selected to Second-Team Academic All-America

AUSTIN, Texas – College Sport Communicators (CSC) has officially announced their 2022-23 Academic All-America Men's At-Large Teams, and Jacob Nonn, a graduate student on Viterbo University's Men's Volleyball team has been named to the All-America Second-Team.

The Academic All-America teams are nominated and voted on by members of CSC based on a combination of athletes' academic and athletic accomplishments. The At-Large teams are made up of athletes from Bowling, Competitive Cheer, Competitive Dance, Golf, Lacrosse, Volleyball and Wrestling.

Nonn, a graduate student receiving his Masters of Business Administration, held a 3.80 graduate GPA, while also producing an impressive season on the court, where he was selected to Second Team All- Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC). He posted career highs in kills (349), kills/set (379), service aces (27), digs (149), and blocks (22). Nonn ranked second in the conference in total kills, fourth in kills/set, and ninth in service aces.

Nonn completes his five-year career as Viterbo's all-time leader in kills (1,305), digs (615), service aces (87), sets played (395), and fourth in blocks (101), and holds the single season kills record (349), and aces (27).

He is the first CSC Academic All-American in team history.
