Women's Volleyball Releases 2023 Schedule

LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Viterbo University Women’s Volleyball, who were ranked #9 in the final NAIA Top-25 Coaches Poll last season, team officially announced their 2023 schedule on Tuesday. The V-Hawks look to build on a 2022 season in which they went 30-8, including 13-1 in the North Star Athletic Association, a regular season and conference tournament title, and an appearance at the NAIA Championships final site.
Robson Returns to Viterbo Volleyball

LA CROSSE, Wis. – Thomas Robson, a 2022 Viterbo University graduate, has officially rejoined the V-Hawks Women’s Volleyball coaching staff. Robson was an assistant during the 2021 season as well.
Women's Volleyball Announces 2023 Summer Camp Dates

LA CROSSE, Wis. – The 2022 NSAA Champions and No. 9-ranked Viterbo Volleyball team has announced its 2023 summer camp schedule. The V-Hawks will host eight camps during the month of July for campers from second to 12th grade. Camp registration is now open here.
22 V-Hawks Named Scholar Athletes

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has released the 2022 Daktronics Scholar Athletes for fall sports. Viterbo had 22 student-athletes over five different sports be recognized for their academic accomplishments.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NAIA has officially released their Women’s Volleyball All-America teams, and four V-Hawks have been honored by the All-America Committee.

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The American Volleyball Coaches Association has announced it’s All-Region teams and five V-Hawks were named to the Northcentral Region Team.
V-Hawks Sweep Spartans; End Season on a Win

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Viterbo University Women’s Volleyball team, who was ranked #9 in the final NAIA Top 25 Coaches Poll, defeated #12 Missouri Baptist University 3-0 (25-20, 25-21, 25-23) in the final game of pool play at the NAIA Volleyball National Tournament Championship. The V-Hawks end the season with a 30-8 record, and the Spartans finish at 30-5. This was the 14th team in school history to reach the 30-win mark.
Sobasky Sets Career High, V-Hawks Fall in Pool Play

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Viterbo University Women’s Volleyball team, who was ranked #9 in the final NAIA Top 25 Coaches Poll, battled Columbia College (Mo.), ranked #16, in their first game of pool play at the Final site of the NAIA Volleyball Tournament Thursday night. The Cougars claimed the victory 1-3 (22-25, 25-21, 21-25, 24-26) to improve to 29-10 and move onto bracket play, while the V-Hawks drop to 29-8.
Womens Volleyball Heads to Sioux City for National Tournament Final Site

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Viterbo University Women’s Volleyball team, ranked #9 in the final NAIA Top 25 Coaches Poll, is heading to Sioux City, Iowa for the NAIA National Volleyball Tournament Final Site. The V-Hawks earned an automatic bid into the National Tournament after winning the North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) Conference Tournament, and won their opening round match, in which they hosted Point Park University (Pa.), 3-0 (25-18, 25-18, 25-20).

WATERTOWN, S.D. – The Viterbo University Women’s Volleyball team, ranked #9 in the most recent NAIA Top 25 Coaches Poll, earned a 3-0 sweep (28-26, 25-21, 25-17) over Mayville State University (N.D.) in the semifinal round of the North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) conference tournament on Friday night. Top ranked Viterbo advances to the Championship game against No. 2 Bellevue (Neb.) on Saturday afternoon, while Mayville’s season ends at 17-18 (7-7 NSAA).

The V-Hawks improve to 28-7, while the Bruins fall to 26-7.

Awards were given out during the honors presentation at the Ramkota Inn & Convention Center on the eve of the North Star Volleyball conference postseason tournament at Civic Arena.
Viterbo Earns Top Seed in NSAA Super Six

LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Viterbo University Women’s Volleyball team, ranked No. 7 in the most recent NAIA Top 25 Coaches Poll, has earned the top seed in the North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) “Super Six” Conference Tournament. The postseason tournament is set at Civic Arena in Watertown, S.D. on Friday (Nov. 11) and Saturday (Nov. 12). The top six teams in the NSAA volleyball conference standings will compete for the automatic bid to the NAIA National Tournament.

BELLEVUE, Neb – The Viterbo University Women’s Volleyball team, ranked #7 in the most recent NAIA Top 25 Coaches Poll, fell 3-1 (16-25, 25-22, 17-25, 15-25) to #16 Bellevue University (Neb.) in their regular season finale on Saturday afternoon. The V-Hawks drop to 26-7 (13-1 NSAA), while the Bruins improve to 25-6 (13-1 NSAA). The only conference loss for both teams came on the road at the other, so the teams will share the North Star Athletic Association crown.

MADISON, S.D. - The Viterbo University Women's Volleyball team, ranked #7 in the most recent NAIA Top 25 Coaches Poll, took on the Dakota State University Trojans at the DSU Fieldhouse on Friday. The V-Hawks defeated the Trojans 3-2 and clinched a share of the North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) conference title. The V-Hawks improve to 26-6 overall and 13-0 in conference play while the Trojans fall to 16-16 overall and 6-7 in league play.
