AVCA Announces All-Region Team

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The American Volleyball Coaches Association has announced it's All-Region teams and five V-Hawks were named to the Northcentral Region Team.

Jada Mitchell (Freshman, MH, New Albin, Iowa) was not only selected to the All-Region team, but was also selected as the region's Attacker of the Year and Freshman of the Year. Mitchell recorded 316 kills on the year on .319 hitting percentage, while also adding 125 blocks, 13 digs, and five assist. She was also named to the All-North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) First-Team, Conference Attacker of the Year, and Conference Freshman of the Year.

Adrianna Reinhart (Senior, L, Caledonia, Minn.) earned her second Libero of the Year Award and was named to her second All-Region team for her season in which she recorded 723 digs, 139 assists, 51 aces, and four kills. Reinhart earned Libero of the Year in the NSAA this year, was First-Team All-NSAA, and was an All-Region honorable mention in 2020.

Kenzie Winker (Junior, OH, Holmen, Wis.) was selected to the All-Region team for the fourth time in her career, to go along with her fourth First-Team All-NSAA selection this year. Winker led the V-Hawks with 502 kills with 281 digs, 50 blocks, and 14 assists.

Grace Rohde (Sophomore, RS, Winona, Min.) collected her first AVCA honor this season, being named to the All-Region team. Her 418 kills and 109 digs were both career highs, to go along with 53 blocks and four assists enroute to also earning First-Team All-NSAA.

Lauryn Sobasky (Senior, S, Inver Grove Heights, Minn.), who earned her second Second-Team All-NSAA honor this year, also earned her first AVCA accolade, being named Honorable Mention. Sobasky led Viterbo with 939 assists, and recorded 310 digs, 28 aces, and 27 kills.

Ryan DeLong (18th season) was named the AVCA Northcentral Region Coach of the Year for the fifth time in his career, the second year in a row, and third time in four years. He also earned his eighth Conference Coach of the Year award, leading the V-Hawks to NSAA Regular Season and Conference Tournament Championships. Viterbo also outperformed their preseason ranking of second in conference, and produced their 14th 30-win season in program history.
