V-Hawks Compete at National Championships
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Viterbo University Women's Cross Country Team ran at the 2022 NAIA Cross Country National Championship on Friday and finished 33rd out of 36 teams with a score of (124, 136, 152, 199, 227, (230), (238)). Taylor (Ind.) won the team Title with 50 points (4, 6, 9, 12, 19) and Lina May of William Carey University (Miss.). was the Individual Champion with a time of 16:50.9.
Madelyn Adam was the top performer for the V-Hawks, finishing in 164th place with a time of 19:27.2, and teammate Brenna McDonough was close behind her, finishing at 19:32.2 for 180th place. Anya Hirsch was the final V-Hawk in the top-200 , finishing 197th with a time of 19:38.8, and Vanessa Thomas' time of 20:22.7 earned her 267th. Tori Gerber was the final scorer for the V-Hawks, finishing 300th at 21:30.4.
Hannah Butler came in 303rd, finishing in 1:08.0, and Jerica Mueller was 315th at 22:04.7.
