V-Hawks take 1st at UW-Eau Claire Dual Meet
EAU CLAIRE, Wis. - The Viterbo University Women's Cross Country team took 1st place at the UW-Eau Claire City Wells Women's 5k on Friday. The V-Hawks scored a total of 23 points while the Bluegolds scored 34. Junior V-Hawk Anya Hirsch was the individual champion with a time of 19:44.0.
Madelyn Adam took 2nd place with a time of 19:45.0. followed by teammate Brenna McDonough with a time of 19:51.0. placing her in 3rd place. Vanessa Thomas placed 5th with a time of 19:56.0. Tori Gerber ran a time of 20:24.0 putting her in 16th place.
Other runners for the V-Hawks include Hannah Butler (20th, 21:06.0.), Jerica Mueller (25th, 21:57.0.), Megan Scheuer (26th, 22:27.0.), Rebecca York (27th, 23:25.0.), Maria Grater (28th, 23:36.0.), Kaitlyn Wrage (29th, 23:44.0.), Bernadette Frisch (30th, 23:53.0.), and Madie Olson (31st, 24:20.0.).
The NSAA Conference Championships will take place in Dickinson, North Dakota on Friday, November 4 at 10:30AM CST.
