LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Viterbo Women's Soccer team (8-3) shut out the Tigers of Iowa Wesleyan today 4-0.
Abigail Mumm got the scoring started for the V-Hawks with a goal from Aimee Kemper at 21:19. Roughly three minutes later, it was Mumm again with the goal to go up 2-0. In minute 34, Mumm was able to complete the hat trick, scoring her third goal of the half. Less than one minute later Kemper scored a goal of her own to go up 4-0, which held through the end of the game. Mumm took seven shots for Viterbo, landing six on goal while Kemper took three shots, landing two on goal.
The V-Hawks will be back in action on October 21st to face Morningside College at the Viterbo Outdoor Athletic Conference. The game is scheduled for 3:00 PM CST. Follow the action on our website or by following us on social media.
