Lexi Meade to Step Down as Women's Golf Head Coach

LA CROSSE, Wis. – Viterbo University announced that Lexi Meade has stepped down as head coach of the women’s golf program after completing her first season at the helm.
Avery Poppe is an All-American

ASHEVILLE, North Carolina – Avery Poppe is officially a two-time All-American in the heptathlon, earning the honor again this season with a fifth place finish at the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships in Asheville, North Carolina. She was the only underclassman to earn All-American recognition in the event, finishing among a top-eight group that included five seniors, two juniors, and just one sophomore, Poppe herself. Her performance also set a new school record with 4,831 points, surpassing the mark she set earlier this year.
Kaczynski Wraps Up Season at NAIA National Championships

SILVIS, Ill. – This week, sophomore JJ Kaczynski headed south to Silvis, Illinois to compete in the 2026 NAIA Men’s Golf National Championships at TPC Deere Run. JJ Kaczynski earned a bid to the National Championships after winning the individual CCAC Conference Championship, becoming the first V-Hawk men’s golfer to qualify for national competition.

The CCAC Selects one player in each position to be a part of the “Gold Glove” team as well as a first and second team, each being comprised of 20 individuals. This year, the V-Hawks represent three of the selections.

V-Hawks Take Second at CCAC Championships

JOLIET, Ill. -- The V-Hawks traveled to Joliet over the weekend to compete in the CCAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Throughout the two days of competition, the V-Hawks came home with 26 lifetime personal bests, 18 season bests, 14 all-conference honorees, two conference champions, two national qualifiers, a school record, and a field athlete MVP.
V-Hawk Season Comes to a Close on the Road

CROWN POINT, Ind. -- In a must-win game of the CCAC Tournament, the V-Hawks came up just short in extra innings to fall to the Crimson Wave of Calumet. Despite a 13-run performance, the V-Hawks were unable to top the Crimson Wave, dropping to 21-28 to close out the 2026 season. With the loss, the V-Hawks still had one of their best seasons in program history.
V-Hawks Drop First Game of CCAC Tournament

CROWN POINT, Ind. -- The V-Hawks traveled to Crown Point, Indiana this week to compete in the conference's tournament. The V-Hawks missed the tournament last year, but with a strong performance this season, they made it in as a five seed to face the four seed in the first round, Olivet Nazarene. The V-Hawks fell to the Tigers through seven innings, dropping to 21-27 on the season.
39 V-Hawk Spring Athletes Earn NAIA Scholar Athlete Honors

KANSAS CITY, Missouri – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced on Wednesday the individuals that received NAIA Scholar Athlete honors. The honor is defined as a student-athlete that has been enrolled at his or her school for a minimum of one year, that is a member of a varsity team, completed at least 30 semester hours, and boasts no less than a 3.50 cumulative GPA. This award is reserved for outstanding student-athletes in the classroom.
Viterbo Athletics Department Hosts 2026 Victor Awards

V-Hawks Close Regular-Season with Full Series Sweep

LA CROSSE, Wis. -- The V-Hawks finished their 2026 regular season on a high note with a full series sweep over the Indiana South Bend Titans. The team picked up three wins over the course of two games to have one of their best seasons in program history. With the win, the V-Hawks improve to 21-26 overall and 16-11 in the CCAC.
V-Hawks Finish Season With Win Over St. Francis

JOLIET, Ill. -- The V-Hawk baseball team traveled east to Illinois this weekend to face off in their final series of games for the 2026 season. The V-Hawks faced off against the Fighting Saints of St. Francis, dropping three games and winning one. With the loss, the V-Hawks fall to 11-34 overall and 7-25 in the CCAC to end the year.
JJ Kaczynski is a Conference Champion, Team with 3rd Place Finish

SILVIS, Ill. -- The V-Hawks returned to the course this past weekend to compete in the CCAC Championships, hosted at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill. The event was a two-day competition. On day one, the teams played 36 holes of competition, and on day two, the competitors finished with a final round of 18. As a team, the V-Hawks finished in third place, falling to St. Ambrose and Olivet Nazarene. The biggest story of the day was JJ Kaczynski's individual conference championship.
