Hirsch Runs in NAIA Championship
VANCOUVER, Wash. – The NAIA National Women's Cross Country Championships took place on Friday morning at Fort Vancouver National Historic Championship Course, and Anya Hirsch represented the V-Hawks on the national stage.
The senior finished 125th out of 333 runners with a time of 23:50.4, the second-best mark of her career. 125th is the fourth best placement of any V-Hawk at the national meet, She earned an individual qualification by finishing third at the NSAA Championship meet, and ran the third best time of any NSAA Runner at Nationals as well.
Hirsch improved upon her 197th placement at last year's national meet.
She now looks ahead to the NAIA Marathon Race in Sacramento, Calif. in December. She is currently the #1 ranked runner in the NAIA.
