Women's Cross Country rounds out the regular season with 15th place finish
WEST SALEM, Wis. - The Viterbo University Women's Cross Country team finished 15th of 20 teams in the Drews/Neubauer Invitational on Friday. The invite, hosted by the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, had strong competition with many top Division III collegiate cross country teams in attendance. Viterbo finished with a score of 409, behind the University of Wisconsin-Stout and just five points ahead of the Minnesota Running Club.
Vanessa Thomas finished out front for the V-Hawks in 72nd place out of a total of 283 runners. Thomas crossed the finish line at 24:08.99. Not far behind her was Madelyn Adam, who placed 106 with a time of 24:37.14. With almost 300 runners, Viterbo had five runners finish in the top 150.

The V-Hawks will spend the next couple of weeks preparing for the North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) Conference Cross Country Championships. They will take place on Friday, November 5th at the Platteville Country Club in Bellevue, Neb. The women are scheduled to run at 11:30 am CST.
