CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Viterbo University Women's Soccer team traveled to Iowa for the Continential Athletic Conference Classic to take on Georgia Gwinnett. The game ended in a tie 0-0 bringing Viterbo's record to 6-4-2, while the Grizzlies record moved to 3-4-6.
A foul early on in the game by both Viterbo and Georgia Gwinnett would end with saves by each goale, Matilda Johansson at 7:30 and Anna Becker at 10:41. Viterbo's Jenna Bennett shot a corner kick but was saved by Georgia's goalie Matilda Johansson at 18:23. Viterbo would take two more shots before half, but none would find the net.
Georgia Gwinnett took two shots early in the second half, one of which was saved by V-Hawk goalie Anna Becker. Viterbo came back attempting a shot at 54:25 but was unsuccessful. Becker and Johansson each recorded a save within the next 16 minutes of the second half. Georgia Gwinnett's Kyara Armenta took the last shot of the game at 85:13 but it was saved by Becker ending the game 0-0.
