V-Hawks Take Second at Home Invite
ONALASKA, Wis- The Viterbo University Men's Golf team hosted their two-day home invite at the La Crosse Country Club where the team took second with a total score of 630 (+54).
Kirkwood Community College took home the team title with a total score of 600 (+24) with their own Aaron Estell taking first for the players with a total score of 141 (-3).
Justin Kaczynski was the top golfer for the V-Hawks bringing in a total score of 157 (+13) and placing 7th. Ethan Thomas and Alex Samolinski followed behind their teammate by just one stroke giving both of them a total score of 158 (+14), tying them for 10th place. Tying for 16th place, Ben Biskupski came in with a total score of 161 (+17). Aaron Mork was the next V-Hawk with a total score of 164 (+20) and a tie for 20th place.
Viterbo included six individuals at this invite which included Dalton Collins and Kevin Ross who tied each other for 30th place with total scores of 170 (+26). Trevor Hinz was the next individual for the team with a total score of 173 (+29), tying him for 35th place. Steffen Larson followed closely behind as the fourth individual with a total score of 174 (+30) and a tie for 37th place. As the fifth individual, Tyler Arenz brought in a total score of 177 (+33) and placed 45th. Tying for 48th place was Jackson Schuh as the final individual for the V-Hawks with a total score of 191 (+47).
The V-Hawks will return to the tee box on Sunday, October 13 for the three-day Whistling Straits Classic in Kohler, Wisconsin.
