ST. LOUIS, Missouri – The American Midwest Conference announced their weekly player of the week honors on Monday. The conference picks one athlete per week as the best in the conference, and this week the AMC has named Trey’lon Salley as the conference’s Dancer of the Week.
V-Hawks End Season on High Note, Defeat Calumet

LA CROSSE, Wis. -- The V-Hawks claimed victory over the Crimson Wave in their final competition of the 2025-26 season. The team was able to secure an 81-75 victory over the Crimson Wave, finalizing their record at 7-19 overall and 5-15 in the CCAC. With the loss, Calumet falls to 12-15 overall and 8-12 in the conference.
V-Hawks Continue Revenge Tour, Defeat Holy Cross

LA CROSSE, Wis. -- The V-Hawks hosted the Saints of Holy Cross on Saturday in the R.W. Beggs, Sr. Gymnasium. Through four quarters of play, the V-Hawks came out with another CCAC victory, marking the most conference wins in recorded history. With the win, the V-Hawks improve to 14-13 overall and 12-8 in the conference. The Saints fall to 15-13 overall and 11-9 in CCAC play.
V-Hawks Take Second and Third at Midland Dance Invite

FREMONT, Neb. -- The V-Hawks traveled to Fremont, Nebraska this weekend to face off at the Midland Dance Invite. Hosted by the reigning National Champions, the invite hosted several teams over the course of two days of competition. The V-Hawks finished in the top three on both days.
V-Hawks Split Opening Weekend 2-2

BRANSON, Missouri -- The V-Hawks traveled to Branson, Missouri to open the 2026 season this past weekend. While on the road, the V-Hawks faced off against four teams, Graceland, Oklahoma Wesleyan, York, and Park. Throughout the four games, the V-Hawks took home two wins over Graceland and York. The V-Hawks fell to Oklahoma Wesleyan and Park.
V-Hawks Take 2nd at Indoor CCAC Meet, Four Individual Champions

BOURBONNAIS, Ill. -- The V-Hawks headed east to Bourbonnais to face off in the CCAC Indoor Track and Field Championships. After their two days of competition, the V-Hawks finished in second place as a team, earning four individual championships and one MVP award. Throughout the competition, the V-Hawks landed themselves in the top-five of competitions more than 15 times.
V-Hawks Split First Conference Weekend

DAVENPORT, Iowa; WHITING, Ind. -- The V-Hawks traveled to Iowa for their first CCAC competition of the 2026 season, followed by a trip out to Indiana for their second. The V-Hawks fell to the Fighting Bees of St. Ambrose 3-1 through a tightly contested battle. On Saturday, the V-Hawks were able to turn it around, picking up a win against the Crimson Wave of Calumet in a 3-0 sweep. The V-Hawks improve to 2-10 overall and 1-1 in conference after the weekend of competition.
V-Hawks Victorious over Cougars

LA CROSSE, Wis. -- The V-Hawk women's basketball team took to the court on Wednesday night seeking their 11th CCAC victory this season. Through the competition, the V-Hawks were able to pick up the win in a closely contested match. The V-Hawks escaped with a 60-59 win, and they improve to 13-13 on the season and 11-8 in the conference. The Cougars drop to 18-9 overall and 14-5 in the conference.
V-Hawks Struggle Offensively, Fall to St. Francis

LA CROSSE, Wis. -- The V-Hawks returned to La Crosse on Wednesday night to face off against the Fighting Saints of St. Francis. In the matchup against top-ranked CCAC foe, the V-Hawks held tight with the Saints through the first half, falling behind in the second. With the loss, the V-Hawks drop to 6-19 this year with a 4-15 CCAC record. The Fighting Saints improve to 19-7 and 14-5 in the conference.
Izzy Keck Collects CCAC Field Athlete of the Week Honors

CHICAGO, Ill. – The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced on Wednesday their weekly honors for indoor track and field. Each week, the conference honors the top-performing track athlete and the top-performing field athlete. This week, junior Izzy Keck was named as the conference’s Field Athlete of the Week.
V-Hawks Open Season in Missouri

COLUMBIA, Missouri -- The V-Hawks headed south this weekend to compete in their first competitions of the 2026 season. The team played a double-header on Sunday followed by another double-header on Monday. Through the four games, the V-Hawks went 0-4, with their closest match being a 10-9 loss on Sunday.
V-Hawks Take Second as a Team at the Dick Hendricks Invite

RIPON, Wis. -- The V-Hawks traveled to Ripon this weekend for the Dick Hendricks Invite. At the invite, the faced off against several teams, taking second overall as a team. Throughout the day, several individual V-Hawks shined. The meet was their final regular-season meet before the Indoor CCAC Championships next weekend on February 20.
V-Hawks Place Third at Home Invite, led by Emily Newbauer

LA CROSSE, Wis. -- The V-Hawk women hosted their annual home invitational this past weekend at All Star Lanes in La Crosse. The V-Hawks were hosting five teams at the invitational and ended up taking third place in a very close competition. Additionally, Emily Newbauer earned All-Tournament honors from her individual performance.
V-Hawks Drop to Titans on the Road, Led by Carly Drew

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The V-Hawk women traveled to South Bend, Indiana to face off against the Titans of Indiana University South Bend. Despite their efforts, and three V-Hawks scoring in double digits, the team came up short, falling to the Titans 95-84. The V-Hawks drop to 12-13 overall and 10-8 in CCAC play. The Titans improve to 18-7 overall and 13-4 in the conference.
V-Hawk Men Claim Second at Home Invite, Arias with Individual Win

LA CROSSE, Wis. -- The V-Hawks hosted their annual V-Hawk Invitational this weekend at Pla-Mor Lanes in La Crosse. The men hosted several teams at the invitational, and through two days of competition, the men came home with a second place finish. Individually, Nate Arias took home the title, followed closely by teammate Brayton Fandrich.
V-Hawks Can't Escape Titans

LA CROSSE, Wis. -- The V-Hawks hosted the Titans of Indiana South Bend on Saturday in R.W. Beggs, Sr. Gymnasium. The two teams competed through forty minutes, and the V-Hawks fell to the Titans 68-52 despite their efforts. With the loss, the V-Hawks move to 6-18 overall and 4-14 in the conference while the Titans improve to 18-8 overall and 13-5 in the CCAC.
