Women's Cross Country Releases 2023 Schedule

LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Viterbo University Women's Cross Country team has officially announced their 2023 schedule. The V-Hawks have won the North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) crown two of the past three years, and will look to repeat this year, taking another trip to the national meet.

The V-Hawks return three members of their national-qualifying team from last year, Tori Gerber, Anya Hirsch, and Vanessa Thomas. Thomas and Hirsch were both first-team All-NSAA last year.

First-year Head Coach Marcia Taddy will lead the V-Hawks this season, starting with the Carleton Invitational on September 9, followed by the UW-Platteville Pioneer Gender Equity Invitational on September 23.

On October 14, the V-Hawks will travel across town for the UW-La Crosse Tori Nuebauer Invitational at Maple Grove Venues. The final regular season meet will be on October 21 at the NAIA Midwest Stampede, hosted by Mount Mercy University (Iowa).

Viterbo will host the NSAA Championship Meet on November 3 at Maple Grove Venues at 10:30 AM, with the awards ceremony to follow at 2 PM. The NAIA Championships will be held in Vancouver, Wash. On Friday, November 17, starting at 10:30 AM PST.
