Two V-Hawks Named All-Americans

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NAIA has officially released their Women's Volleyball All-America teams, and two V-Hawks have been honored by the All-America Committee.

Jada Mitchell (Jr., MH, New Albin, Iowa) earned a spot on the All-America Second Team for the third season in a row. Mitchell led the V-Hawks with 377 kills while hitting .390 and adding 143 blocks. She was named the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Player of the Year, AVCA Mideast Region Player of the year and named to the first team.

"Jada continues to get better year after year and this year was no different. Jada is a player that just takes over games and she did that often for us this year, proud of her recognition and accomplishments this year and excited to have her back for one more year!" said head coach Ryan DeLong

Kenidi McCabe (Sr., L, Decorah, Iowa) finished her outstanding senior season with a Third Team All-America selection to go with her AVCA All-Region First Team, All-Region Libero of the Year, CCAC Libero of the Year, and CCAC First Team awards. McCabe recorded 653 digs (5.18/set), leading the CCAC and ranked 16th in the NAIA.

Coach DeLong had to say "Ken was the heart and soul of our team defense, my pain. She's the best libero in the country and she did not disappoint this year. What she does on the court is simply amazing and I am very proud of all of her accomplishments, including this one."
