GARY, Ind. – The Viterbo University Women's Volleyball team took Indiana University Northwest Tuesday evening in three sets (25-20, 25-23, 25-19). The V-Hawks rise to 15-9 (CCAC 7-0) while the Red Hawks fall to 13-13 (CCAC 5-4).
In set one the V-Hawks collected 17 kills with only 3 errors, followed by 14 kills coupled with 11 errors in the second set. Wrapping up the match for the V-Hawks they topped out 20 kills with only 3 errors.
Mitchell led the V-Hawks with 15 kills, closely followed by Halverson with 10, while Kowal and Connor supplied 20 assists each. McCabe took 20 digs with Halverson taking 11, while the Red Hawks Briah Strezo and Erica Packwood led with eight kills each.
The V-Hawks return to action Friday, October 18th as they take on Saint Xavier at home.
