Mitchell Named NSAA Attacker of the Week

BISMARK, ND – The North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) has announced the ninth edition of their Women's Volleyball Players of the Week, and Viterbo's Jada Mitchell has been named the Attacker of the Week. She joins Valley City State's (ND) Sadie Hansen (Setter of the Week) and JayCee Richter (Defender of the Week). This is Mitchell's second time earning the award this year.

Mitchell, a New Albion, Iowa native, led the V-Hawks to four straight sweeps this week, including an NSAA Conference matchup against Waldorf, and a perfect outing at Viterbo's home tournament, the 2023 Days Inn and Suites Viterbo Fall Classic, featuring a win over (RV) Rocky Mountain College. Jada accumulated 34 kills (2.8/set) on .382 hitting and 12 total blocks (1/set, 2 solo, 10 assisted).

Mitchell and the V-Hawks return to action on Friday, October 20 as they host #18 Bellevue University (Neb.).
