Mitchell Named NSAA Attacker of the Week

BISMARK, ND – The North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) has announced the seventh edition of its Women's Volleyball Players of the Week, and Viterbo's Jada Mitchell has been selected as the Attacker of the Week. This is Mitchell's first time this year collecting the award.

Mitchell, a New Albion, Iowa native, led the V-Hawks with a total of 38 kills over 11 sets (3.5/set) while hitting .438, as well as 14 blocks (1.3/set). She started the week with 13 kills and nine blocks in a five-set thriller over #3 Northwestern College (Iowa), followed by 12 kills in a sweep over Dickinson State (ND) and 13 in three sets over Valley City State (ND). Mitchell only committed three errors in 80 swings on the week.

Mitchell and the V-Hawks return to action on Thursday, October 5 as they host Mayville State University (ND).
