McCabe Named Defender of the Week

BISMARK, N.D. – The North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) has officially announced the third edition of its Women's Volleyball Players of the Week, and Viterbo's Kenidi McCabe has officially been named the Defender of the Week. This is McCabe's first time winning the award.

McCabe, a Decorah, Iowa native, led the V-Hawk with 83 digs and 85 receptions with only two errors (.977%) as the V-Hawks went 3-1 at the College of Saint Mary (Neb.) Labor Day Classic. The lone setback came to the host #12 Saint Mary, in which McCabe had 31 digs (7.8/set), and she also produced 7.3 digs/set in a sweep over Morningside (Iowa). On the weekend, she added six service aces.

Kenidi and the V-Hawks return to action on Friday, September 8 as they host the 2023 Days Inn V-Hawk Invitational.
