Reinhart, Winker Named Players of the Week

LA CROSSE, Wis. – Viterbo University Women's Volleyball players Adriana Reinhart (Senior, Libero) and Kenzie Winker (Junior, Outside Hitter) have been named North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) Volleyball Players of the Week, the league announced on Monday. Reinhart was named Defender of the Week for the third time this season, while Winker earns her second Attacker of the Week honor.

The two helped lead the V-Hawks to a 2-0 record last week, with NSAA wins at Dickinson State (ND) (3-1, 25-18, 25-21, 25-23) and Valley City State (ND) (3-1, 23-25, 25-17, 25-12, 25-15) to extend Viterbo's winning streak to 12.

Reinhart, a Caledonia, Minn. Native, had her week highlighted by 55 total digs, 42 coming in the V-Hawks' road victory at Valley City State that set a new career-high. Her 13 digs at Dickinson State brought her weekly total to 7.9 digs per set, and she also added 6 assists and two aces.

Winker, a Holeman, Wis. native, recorded two double-doubles on the week, including 14 kills and 13 digs at Dickinson State and 19 kills and 11 digs at Valley City State. Overall, she averaged 4.7 kills per set on .237 efficiency, while also posting six blocks.

Reinhart, Winker, and the V-Hawks look to finish the season undefeated in NSAA with matches at (RV) Dakota State (ND) on Friday and #16 Bellevue (Neb.) on Saturday.
