Women's Volleyball lands an NAIA-best five All-Americans

LEXINGTON, Ky. - The American Volleyball Coaches Association announced its women's volleyball All-America teams for the NAIA, as chosen by the NAIA Volleyball All-America Selection Committee today. The V-Hawks landed five selections, leading the NAIA, and the most selections in a single season in V-Hawk history. 

Miah Garant represented the V-Hawks on the First Team after a monster season. Garant totaled 392 kills on the season, hitting a team-high .389 for the year. Her 179 blocks for the season set a Viterbo record for most blocks in a single year and moved her to No. 4 in career blocks in Viterbo history with 416. Garant also sits at No. 8 in career kills in Viterbo history with 1,432. Garant's efforts this year named her the AVCA North Central Region Player of the Year, AVCA North Central Region First Team, NAIA All-Tournament Team, NSAA Player of the Year, NSAA Offensive Player of the Year, and NSAA First Team. This selection is Garant's first First-Team honor after receiving Honorable Mention All-America her sophomore and junior seasons.

Maya Roberts was named to the Second Team for the third consecutive year after being named Honorable Mention All-America as a freshman. The fifth-year senior led the team with 453 kills (3.24 k/s) and produced a career-high hitting percentage of .302 on the season. Defensively, she also contributed 97 blocks. Roberts' offensive efforts this season moved her to No. 4 all-time in career kills in V-Hawk history with 1,632. Roberts was also named AVCA North Central Region First Team and NSAA First Team this season.

Kenzie Winker earned Third Team recognition this season, marking the first All-America Selection of her career. The junior set career-highs in kills (380), hitting percentage (.226), digs (245), and blocks (48) this season. Winker was also named AVCA North Central Region First Team as well as NSAA First Team this year. 

Katie Frohmader earned the second All-America award of her career, being named Honorable Mention. The fifth-year senior collected 311 kills on the season with a hitting percentage of .200. Defensively, Frohmader added a career-high 63 blocks on the year with 111 digs. Frohmader's offensive efforts this season placed her at No. 6 in all-time career kills in Viterbo history at 1,598. Frohmader was named AVCA North Central Region and NSAA First Team this year.

Adrianna Reinhart was named Honorable Mention All-America, earning the distinction for the first time in her career. Reinhart produced a career-high 605 digs on the season as well as set career-highs in aces (45) and assists (161). This season, Reinhart was named AVCA North Central Libero of the Year, AVCA North Central Region First Team, NSAA Libero of the Year, and NSAA First Team.
