V-Hawks advance to NSAA Super Six Championship

WATERTOWN, S.D. – The Viterbo Women's Volleyball team (36-1) advanced to the NSAA Championship after defeating the Valley City State Vikings in straight sets. The V-Hawks won behind scores of 25-23, 25-19, and 25-15. 

The V-Hawks hit .394 for the match compared to the Vikings .147 hitting percentage. All seven V-Hawk hitters hit above .300 for the match. Miah Garant led the team with 13 kills. Maya Roberts finished with nine kills, followed by Kenzie Winker with eight, and Katie Frohmader and Grace Rohde with seven. Cailie Kowal led the team with 20 assists while Lauryn Sobasky added 16. Adrianna Reinhart led the V-Hawks with 10 digs.

The Viterbo Women's Volleyball team will be back in action tomorrow afternoon at 2:00 PM CST to face #11 Bellevue University for the NSAA Super Six Tournament Title. Follow the action at www.playnorthstar.com.
