Women's Volleyball 'Super Six' Conference Tournament set to begin Friday in Watertown, S.D.

BISMARCK, N.D. – The 2021 North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) Volleyball 'Super Six' conference postseason tournament is set to return at Civic Arena in Watertown, S.D. on Friday and Saturday.  The top six teams in the NSAA volleyball conference standings advance to the postseason tournament.

Viterbo will be the No. 1 seed for the conference postseason tournament.  The V-Hawks, who are ranked No. 2 nationally, are currently on a 28-match winning streak with an overall record of 35-1.  VU claimed the league title with a perfect 14-0 record.

The conference postseason tournament kicks off with a pair of quarterfinal matches in the first session Friday.  Dakota State takes on Presentation with a 10 a.m. first serve.  MSU plays VCSU in the second match of the first session, scheduled for 12 noon.

The quarterfinal winners move on to the evening semifinals session Friday.  The PC/DaSU winner faces Bellevue in the first semifinal at 5 p.m.  Viterbo is scheduled to play at 7 p.m. against the winner of MSU/VCSU match. You can watch live here.

The semifinal winners will move on to the North Star conference championship match Saturday.  First serve is set for 2 p.m.

The winner of the NSAA Volleyball Postseason Conference Tournament will earn an automatic bid to the NAIA Volleyball National Tournament Opening Round, which is set for Nov. 20.  The national opening round winners will move on to the final set at Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, Iowa from Nov. 30-Dec. 4.
