Garant nabs final NSAA Attacker-of-the-Week honor

BISMARK, N.D. - The North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) announced its final edition of volleyball players-of-the-week honors Monday. Viterbo Women's Volleyball athlete Miah Garant of was selected as the Attacker-of-the-Week.

Garant smashed 23 kills and hit an impressive .513 in No. 2 Viterbo's 3-2 home thriller over No. 11 Bellevue (Neb.), claiming its' league outright regular-season title. She also had eight blocks in the match. She followed up with 14 kills and hit .265 in VU's 3-1 home victory over Dakota State (S.D.). She added four blocks and four digs in the match. For the week, Garant averaged 4.1 kills (37 total kills) and 1.3 blocks (12 total blocks) per set. She hit .397 with just eight attack errors in 73 swings.
