Women's Volleyball finishes season perfect in conference play

LA CROSSE, Wis. - The Viterbo University Women's Volleyball team played their final regular-season game on Saturday against Dakota State University. The V-Hawks defeated the Trojans in four sets to finish the season undefeated in North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) games.

After coming off a five-set game the night before, all four sets produced close scores for the V-Hawks, with the largest margin of victory in the third set when the Trojans won 25-18. Viterbo fought hard the whole way through, not letting the set three-loss get them down. Set four was very back-and-forth, but Viterbo won the set on a kill from Maya Roberts to win the game.

Four V-Hawks had double-digit kills, with Roberts, Miah Garant, and Katie Frohmader each with 14. Grace Rohde was right behind them with 13 kills and a team-high five block assists. Lauryn Sobasky had 28 assists, while Cailie Kowal had 27. Adrianna Reinhart was unstoppable in the backcourt, with 26 digs and six assists of her own.

Next up the Viterbo Women's Volleyball team will travel to Watertown, S.D. for the NSAA Conference Tournament, taking place starting on Friday, November 12. Follow the action on viterboathletics.com or by following us on social media.
