BELLEVUE, Neb. – The Viterbo Women's Volleyball team (25-1) completed the first half of the NSAA season on Friday night with a win at No. 8-ranked Bellevue University. The V-Hawks won behind scores of 25-23, 23-25, 25-23, and 25-19 to extend their win-streak to 18 matches.
The V-Hawks collected 53 kills on 160 swings and hit .169% for the match. Defensively, the V-Hawks edged the Bruins with 65 digs and 12 blocks compared to Bellevue's 63 digs and 11 blocks. Kenzie Winker led the way for the V-Hawks with 11 kills and nine digs. Miah Garant and Maya Roberts added 10 kills each and four and five blocks, respectively. Lauryn Sobasky dished out 24 assists while Abbey Johnson added 23. Adrianna Reinhart led the V-Hawk defense with 17 digs and Kenidi McCabe added 12.
With the win, the V-Hawks are the only remaining undefeated team in the NSAA. The Viterbo Women's Volleyball team will kick off the second half of conference play on Wednesday night at Waldorf University. First serve is scheduled for 7:00 PM CST.
