• Three-year letter winner and two-year starter on the volleyball team at Saint Charles High School
• Served as team captain during final season
• Named as All-Conference Honorable Mention as a senior
• Earned one letter as a guard/wing on the basketball team

Personal:

• Parents are Myrna and Freddy Perez
• Majoring in Nursing
• Why Viterbo? - "I chose to come to Viterbo University because I heard they have a great as well as unique nursing program. I heard that the people and atmosphere are very welcoming and it’s like a family on campus. I also know some people from my high school that have graduated and went to go study at VU and know they like it very much. Finally, I got offered to play volleyball and that was the final push for me to join because I have a great love for that sport, and am honored to now be able to keep playing after high school."
