Two V-Hawks Named All-American, Wingo Sets School Record
MARION, Ind. – Three V-Hawks competed in the Pole vault at the NAIA National Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Wednesday, with two earning All-American Honors.
Olivia Wingo led the V-Hawks, cleared the first four marks without a fault before attempting 3.75m (12'3.5"). On her final attempt, she cleared the height, setting a new Viterbo record, finishing tied for fourth place, and being named NAIA All-American.
Emma Johnson matched the best height of her career, just behind Wingo at 3.70m (12'1.5"). the mark placed her seventh, also being named an All-American.
The final V-Hawk to participate was Emily Howell, taking 20th place with a mark of 3.40m (11' 1.75").
