Five V-Hawks Set to Compete at Nationals

GAINSVILLE, Fla. - The NAIA has officially released the qualifiers for the 2025 Indoor Women's Track and Field Championships, held at Alachua County Sports and Events Center February 27-March 1. Five V-Hawks have qualified, three in the pole vault, one in the 800m, and one in the long jump.

Olivia Wingo hit A standard, qualifying for nationals at the first meet of the year, and after hitting A standard at the CCAC Confererence championships, she cleared 3.90m, setting a new school record.

Emma Johnson also reaching A standard at the first meet of the year with a vault of 3.70m.

The final V-Hawk vaulter to qualify was Izzy Keck. She hit her first qualifying standard of the year at UW-La Crosse Mark Schuck with 3.61m reaching B standard.

Avery Poppe hit a qualifying B standard in the long jump at her last meet of the season jumping 5.59m.

On the track Tori Gerber qualified in the 800m at the CCAC Conference Championships with a time of 2:18.24 also clinching the school record.
