V-Hawks Open Season at M City Indoor Classic

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The Viterbo University Women's Track and Field team started their 2024-25 indoor season at the Minnesota University M City Indoor Classis on Friday.

Olivia Wingo and Mackenzie Geers led the V-Hawks with second place finishes, Wingo in the high jump with a height of 1.60m and Geers with a 400m time of 1:05.94

Other Notable performances by the V-Hawks came from Avery Poppe placing third in the high jump with a jump of 1.60m, Emily Ludwig placing 4^th in the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.15, and Emma Johnson with a fifth place finish in the 60m hurdles at 9.27. Sophomore Kaylie Wiedmeyer also finished in fourth place with a distance of 11.55m in the shot put.

The V-Hawks return to action on Saturday, December 7 at Ripon College.
