2015-16: Earned two second place finishes at the NSAA Outdoor Championships (4x800 relay and 800 meter race)... Placed third in the 1,500 meter race (5:22.96) and second in the 800 meter race (2:38.43) at the Dingels Brueggen Open.

2014-15: Attended the University of Minnesota.

High School: Earned four varsity letters in both cross country and track and field at Sparta... Named Co-Captain of the cross country team in 2013 and the track team in 2014... School record holder in the 800 meter run and the 400 meter dash... Earned all-conference twice in cross country (2011, 2012) and once in track and field (2011)... Qualified for the State Meet in the 400 meter (2011, 2012) and 800 meter run (2011).

Personal: Parents are Wendy and Daniel Swanson... Major is Nursing.
