Karweick Named Offensive Player of the Week
CHICAGO, Ill. – The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) has officially announced the ninth addition of its Women's Soccer Players of the Week, and Viterbo Midfielder Kelcie Karweick has been named Offensive Player of the Week.
The Black Creek, Wis. native recorded two goals in last week's matchups with Bellevue and St. Francis, helping lead to a conference win, one being the game winner. This is her first time winning the award. A setback came for the Fighting Saints, in which Karweick recorded five shots four landing on goal during the match, totaling six shots on the week.
Karweick and the V-Hawks return to action Wednesday October 30, on the road at St. Ambrose (IA).
