Vriens Named Defensive Player of the Week

CHICAGO, Ill. – The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) has officially announced the eight addition of its Women's Soccer Players of the Week, and Viterbo goalkeeper Veerle Vriens has been named Defensive Player of the Week.

The Roosendaal, Netherlands native recorded 10 saves over last weeks two conference matchups, recording her second and third shutout of the season. This is her second time winning the award.

Vriens and the V-Hawks return to action Tuesday October 22, on the road at Bellevue for a non-conference matchup.
