Women's Soccer Releases 2024 Schedule
LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Viterbo University Women's Soccer team has officially released its 2024 schedule. The V-Hawks, led by Head Coach Scott Pirnstill in his 16th season, will look to build on their 7-6-6 (5-4-2 CCAC) 2023 campaign that ended in the CCAC Conference Tournament Semifinals.
Viterbo starts the year with their Alumni game on August 10, then host NCAA Division 1 North Dakota State University for a scrimmage on August 15 at 1 PM. Their regular season opener is at Morningside University (Iowa) on the 19th, followed by a scrimmage at UW-Eau Claire on the 21st, and a match at Clarke University (Iowa) on the 27th. The V-Hawks end August with their home opener against Bethany Lutheran College (Minn.) on the 31st.
On September 8, VU, led by CCAC First-Team All-Conference Forward Brooke Clements, travels to NCAA D1 St. Thomas University (Minn.) for a scrimmage before returning home to host Waldorf University (Iowa) on the 11th. Viterbo then faces a four-match road stand, traveling to UW-Stout on the 21st, Saint Xavier University (Ill.) on the 24th for their conference opener, Indiana-South Bend on the 28th, and Trinity Christian College (Ill.) on October 1.
CCAC First-Team Forward Ella Herman and the V-Hawks host their first CCAC match on October 5, welcoming Holy Cross College (Ind.). After back-to-back road matches against Calumet College (Ind.) and Judson University (Ill.) on the 8th and 12th, Viterbo hosts Governors State University (Ill.) on the 15th. Viterbo then travels to Indiana Northwest on the Oct. 19 before facing Bellevue University (Neb.) on the road for their final non-conference matchup. VU hosts St. Francis University (Ill.) on the 26th before ending the month at St. Ambrose University (Iowa) on the 30th.
Two-time All-Conference selection Alex Little and the V-Hawks conclude the regular season hosting Olivet Nazarene University (Ill.) on November 2. The V-Hawks will then look ahead to the CCAC Conference Tournament, where they upset the #2 seed Trinity Christian Trolls in the first round last year.
