V-Hawks Start the Season with UW-River Falls Invite
PRESCOTT, Wis.- The Viterbo University Women's Golf team finished 13th for their first tournament at the UW- River Falls Falcon Invited located at Clifton Highlands Golf Course. The V-Hawks brought in a day one score of 393 and improve by nine strokes on day two for a score of 382, which resulted in a total score of 775 (+94) for the two-day tournament.
Lillia Rather was the top golfer for the V-Hawks at the tournament, tying for 30th with a total score of 177 (+33). Next on the leaderboard for the team was Rachel Boe, with a total score of 186 (+42,) which tied her for 49th. Emma Haselhuhn followed her teammates, coming in with a total score of 197 (+53), which tied her for 63rd. Tying for 70th, Kate Baumgart brought in a total score of 215 (+71). Haylee Campbell was the fifth V-Hawk at the tournament, and she brought in a total score of 234 (+90) which received 74th place.
The V-Hawks will return to the tee box Tuesday, September 3rd for the one-day Clark Fall Invite.
