V-Hawks Host Home Invitational

TREMPEALEAU, Wis.- The Viterbo University Women's Golf team teed off the spring season by hosting their spring home meet at Trempealeau Mountain on April 7^th. The V-Hawks had a total score of 365. 

Caylee Beyer was the top golfer for the V-Hawks, bringing in a score of 82 (+11), which resulted in 4th place. Two V-Hawks, Ariel Heuer and Rachel Boe, tied with scores of 93 (+22), tying them for 18^th place. Keeping the ball rolling for a total score of 95 (+24), Courtney Draeger and Lillia Rather tied in 25^th place. Rylee Haines brought in a score of 97 (+26), which resulted in tying for 31^st place. Shooting a total score of 108 (+37), Peyton Lillie tied for 39^th place. 

UW-La Crosse took first place as a team, with a total score of 335. Viterbo finished 30 strokes behind them, with a total score of 365, placing them 6 strokes ahead of UW-River Falls. 

The Viterbo Women's Golf team will return to the tee box on April 15^th and 16^th for the Mount Mercy Invite two-day tournament.
