V-Hawks Take Second at NSAA Meet; Four V-Hawks Collect All-Conference Laurels

BELLEVUE, Neb.- The Viterbo Women's Golf team finished second at the North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) women's conference golf meet. For the first day of the tournament, the V-Hawks scored 380 points and improved to 364 on the second day. The team was 71 strokes behind Bellevue (Neb.) for first place, and 7 strokes ahead of Waldorf (Iowa) for third place.

Bellevue captured the team conference title with a score of 673, and Maria Pinedo of Bellevue took first place with a score of 155 (78, 77, +11).

Caylee Beyer led the V-Hawks with a score of 173 (88, 85, +29), placing her in fourth place overall. Following behind, Lillia Rather completed the tournament with a score of 186 (95, 91, +42), receiving ninth place. Close behind, Ariel Heuer came in with a total score of 193 (100, 93, +49); Rylee Haines tied her teammate for a total score of 193 (98, 95, +49) resulting in the two V-Hawks being tied for eleventh place. Ashley Johnson was the final V-Hawk to complete, finishing with a total score of 204 (99, 105, +33).

The total score for Viterbo was 744 (380, 364, +168) for the two-day conference meet, which wrapped up their spring season. Heuer, Haines, and Rather were named Second Team All-Conference after the completion of the meet. As well as Beyer being named First Team All-Conference.
