Beyer Posts Best Score at UWL Invite

ONALASKA, Wis.- The Viterbo University Women's Golf team finished second out of five teams at the UWL Spring Invite on Sunday afternoon. The V-Hawks were +61, bringing a total score of 345.

Caylee Beyer earned the individual title, with a great round at +10, totaling a score of 81. Ariel Heuer brought in a score of 87, tying her for eighth place, while Ashley Johnson followed closely behind with a score of 88 for an eleventh-place tie. Rylee Haines continued to keep the scores close, placing thirteenth with a score of 89. Lillia Rather kept the ball rolling with a score of 92, tying her for seventeenth place.

UW-La Crosse took first place for the overall teams, with a score of 330. Viterbo finished 15 strokes behind, with a total score of 345 which put them 14 strokes ahead of Luther College.

Five V-Hawks also competed on the Viterbo "B" team, including Signe Fadness (97, 21st), Haylee Campbell (110, 25th), Mallory Arrowood (114, 26th), Peyton Lillie (116, 27th), and Paige Twite (123, 28th).

The V-Hawks return to action on May 1st and 2nd for the North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) conference meet in Nebraska.
