V-Hawks Take Second in Snowy Spring Meet

TREMPEALEAU, Wis- The Viterbo University Women's Golf team hosted their spring home meet at Trempealeau Mountain on April 22. The team finished second out of five teams at the Viterbo Invitational. The V-Hawks finished +50 for a score of 334.

Caylee Beyer fought to tie for first place with Andrea Schleeper of UW-La Crosse with a score of 80 on the par 71 course. Courtney Dreiger came in third just one stroke behind her teammate, shooting an 81. Ariel Heuer was able to tie for sixth place with four other players with her score of 84. Rylee Haines followed with an 89, tying her for sixteenth place. Lillia Rather and Ashley Johnson tied each other with scores of 97, placing them in twenty-second.

UW-La Crosse won the meet with a score of 330. Viterbo finished with a team score of 334, just four strokes behind UW- La Crosse and eight strokes in front of UW- River Falls.

Six more V-Hawks also competed on the Viterbo "B" team, including Gabby Antonelli (92, T-20), Paige Twite (100, 24^th), Signe Fadness (102, 25^th), Peyton Lillie (103, 26^th), Haylee Campbell (112, 28^th), and Mallory Arrowood (123, 29^th).
