Beyer Named NSAA Golfer of the Week

LA CROSSE, Wis. – Caylee Beyer, a Junior on the Viterbo University Women's Golf team, has been voted as the first NSAA Women's Golfer of the Week the league announced on Wednesday.

Beyer, a Reedsburg, WI native, led the V-Hawks last weekend at the UW-River Falls Invite with a two-day score of 177. She shot 33 on day one, then improved to an 84 on day two. Beyer was tied for ninth out of 51 total golfers, and was the highest placing NAIA competitor in a NCAA Division III meet. She helped Viterbo to a 720 total score, and fifth place of nine teams.

Beyer will compete next September 10-11 at the UW-Eau Claire Invitational.
