Beyer Finishes Top Ten at Falcon Invite

PRESCOTT, Wis. – The Viterbo University Women's Golf team finished fifth out of nine teams in the UW-River Falls Falcon Invite at the Clifton Highlands Golf Course. Viterbo had a second day score of 347, 26 strokes better than day one, for a total score of 720 (+144). The Viterbo B-Team finished eighth at 784.

Caylee Beyer was the top performer for the V-Hawks, coming in tied for ninth out of 51 total competitors with a score of 177. Rylee Haines and Ariel Heuer both tied fir 14^th, just one stroke behind at 178. Ashley Johnson scored 90 on the second day, 11 strokes better than day 1 and good enough to place 28^th, and one spot behind her was teammate Courtney Draeger. Haylee Campbell (228), Sydney Elrod (239), and Paige Twite (243) came in 49^th, 50^th, and 51^st, respectfully.

Sarah Peterson was to top golfer on the B-Team, tying for 25^th at 197 (+43). Lillia Rather placed 27^th at 190, and Gabriella Antonelli's score of 195 was good enough to tie for 33^rd. Signe Fadness came in at 43^rd with a score of 212, and Peyton Lillie was 46^th at 222.

The V-Hawks return to the tee box on Saturday, September 10 at the UW-Eau Claire Invitational.
