V-Hawks in Fifth After First Day At Falcon Invite
PRESCOTT, Wis. – The Viterbo University Women's Golf team currently sits in fifth place at the end of the first day of the UW-River Falls Falcon Invite at Clifton Highlands Golf Course. The V-Hawks are sitting at a score of 373, 85 over par, which is good enough for fifth out of nine team. The Viterbo B-Team is sitting at eight with 398 (+110).
Viterbo's top three performer all sit within two strokes of one another. Ariel Heuer is tied for 18th of 51 golfers at 91 (+19), Rylee Haines is teid for 20th at 92 (+20) and Caylee Beyer is tied for 22nd at 93 (+21). Courtney Draeger is tied at 30th, 25 above par with a score of 97. Ashley Johnson comes in with a score of 101, which is tied for 36th and is 29 above par. Sydney Elrod and Paige Twite are each tied for 47th at 116 (+44), and Haylee Campbell rounds out Viterbo's competitors with a +46 score of 118.
Gabriella Antonelli and Lillia Rather are the top performers on the Viterbo's B-Team, tied for 28th at +24 (96). Sarah Peterson is tied for 30th with her teammate Draeger, Signe Fadness comes in at 45th at 109 (+37), and Peyton Lilie is 50th at 117 (+45).
The UW-River Falls Falcon Invite continues tomorrow, September 4 at Clifton Highlands Golf Course.
