V-Hawks Host Home Invitational

LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Viterbo University Women's Bowling team hosted their home Invitational last weekend. The V-Hawks finished second out of four teams with 7329 pins, 4486 coming in the individual games, and 2843 coming in Baker games.

UW-Madison won the team championship, beating out Viterbo by 16 pins.

Emily Newbauer was the individual champion with a total of 1017 pins over five games (203.4 average). This was her second time this season averaging over 200 pins/game. Teammate Kendell Sheldon was behind her in second place, totaling 966 and averaging 193.2. Holly Santucci earned a top-eight finish, averaging 174.8 (874 total), while Madelyn Schwartz played four games, totaling 667 and averaging 166.75. Heidi Kloostra recorded 147 in her lone game.

This tournament marks the finale for the V-Hawks 2023-24 season.
