Two V-Hawks Finish Top-10 at GLBC Meet 3
SCHOFIELD, Wis. – The Viterbo University Woen's Bowling team competed at the Great Lakes Bowling Conference (GLBC) Meet #3 this past weekend. The V-Hawks finished third out of seven teams with a total of 6,882. VU scored 4,207 team points, and 2,675 in the baker games.
UW-Whitewater claimed the team title, while Brenna Schiekiera of Marian University was the individual champion, totaling 962 pins over five games, averaging 192.4.
Schiekiera barely edged out Viterbo's Emily Newbauer, who finished second, just two pins behind first place with 960, an average of 192.
Holly Santucci also recorded a top-10 finish, taking seventh out of the pool of 46 competitors with 917 pins over five games, an average of 183.4.
Kendell Sheldon took 15th with an average of 169, totaling 845, while Courtney Keller finished 21st with a 155.2 average, 776 total. Madelyn Schwartz was the final V-Hawk to compete, taking 28th with 709 pins (141.8 average).
The V-Hawks return to action on Feb 3-4 at the GLBC Meet #4 at Bowlero Wauwatosa in Wauwatosa, Wis.
