Santucci Leads V-Hawks in Eau Claire

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – The Viterbo University Women's Bowling team competed in their second tournament of the season at Wagner's Lanes in Eau Claire, Wisconsin this weekend. The women placed 2nd out of 3 teams in the women's division with a total individual pinfall of 4,115, a team average of 174.72.

The tournament was divided into 8 baker games to start off Saturday followed by 4 individual games later in the day. Sunday was a similar format with 2 individual games to start off the morning followed by 8 baker games in the afternoon. Leading the team was Junior Holly Santucci, placing 1st in the women's division. She shot a 1,040, averaging 173.33 with a high game of 212. Following right behind her was Senior Kendell Sheldon tying for 5th place. She shot 931 for an average of 155.16.

Freshman Courtney Keller was close behind her teammate shooting an 859, averaging 143. Right behind Courtney was Junior Maddie Schwartz, shooting an 835 and averaging 139 for the weekend. Shooting a 703 and averaging 117 was Junior Heidi Kloostra.

The V-Hawks will be traveling October 28th to compete in their second GLBC tournament in Madison, Wis.
